Hired for my skills in change management, previous business ownership and corporate communications, I served as part of the Digital Retail leadership team at Charles Schwab. I helped establish a deep understanding of the business, leveraging a data-driven approach to insights and data related to our clients. I helped structure and deliver recommendations to the leadership team and cross-functional teams in communications and storytelling. I drove large-scale projects, such as our annual Digital Services conference, building our departmental team page, coordination of corporate newsletters and more. In addition, I oversaw strategy sessions, all hands meetings, led reporting and all employee engagement initiatives.
Some key accomplishments:
- Spearheaded initiatives to increase employee engagement metrics 6% YoY with <1% voluntary attrition. Created and sponsored team’s engagement council for 450-person team.
- Established and implemented efficiencies in contractor project allocation and billing, resolving a $3.2M funds mismatch.
- Co-led our annual Digital Services team conference, coordinating the agenda, speakers, presentations, a/v, catering and for more than 1,700 participants across 14 offices.
- Streamlined our process for monthly reporting metrics to the executive committee on key business objectives; these included actionable insights and strategic recommendations for our broader digital organization.
- Served as the primary point of contact for return-to-office efforts as directed by Schwab’s Executive Council, managing exception requests, real estate planning, and team footprint across the enterprise.
- Automated numerous operational and HR requests, streamlining tracking and approval processes.
